Labor of Love...

We have been busy! Brian's parents Colorado home flooded back in December when the temperatures were so low. Unfortunately, all of their flooring and some walls were damaged causing some serious issues in their condo. Fortunately, their daughter-in-law loves to decorate and plan. For the past two weekends we have been emailing, texting, calling and ... shopping. We have taken colors and samples of things we can send them and things they can find in Florida and re-doing their home. I have tried to be as secretive as I can, making Brian promise to not give up information. I really want them to be surpised (and hopefully pleased) with what we have come up with based on some of their likes and dislikes. Last weekend, we did shopping for tile and paint and stared painting. This weekend, we went carpet shopping, and continued to paint. We have made this a family affair too with the kids helping out. I am so pleased with how things are coming together so far, I REALLY hope that they love what we have done.
